You might think each poker uses its
own poker software, but this is not the
case. Actually the online poker gambling market
is controlled by a few big poker software providers.
The poker software is customized for each licensee
but only at a cosmetic level. The gaming engine
is the same for each licensee. Frequently, they
even use the same e-cash processor.
The major poker software providers have nothing
to gain from online poker gambling operators that
put their reputation at risk. If you want to avoid
problems, we advice you to stay away from small
outfits using proprietary poker software, and
to stick to poker rooms of the major poker
software providers. A few of the major poker
software providers are discussed below. For each

with the list of poker rooms using it.
